My Digital Studio . . .

I just finished creating my first calendar with "My Digital Studio". It was so fun! (Kind of addicting though.) You can create scrapbooks, cards, calendar and even videos with My Digital Studio. It's definitely not just scrapbook software. I took all the pages I created and put together a video. Enjoy!

Halloween Treat Tubes

Look what I made! I bought these plastic tubes a while ago and they were a little bigger that I thought they would be, so I've been trying to think of something to do with them. This is what I came up with ... Frankie is my favorite ... what do you think?

Barbara's Card

A friend of my won tickets to a Barbara Streisand show in New York. How lucky is that? I'm so excited for her! Well, she wanted to do something for Barbara and Sony Records, who sponsored the contest, so she asked me if I would make a couple of thank you cards for them. So here they are.

I used Stampin' Up's new Bride Specialty Paper and brayered a couple of pieces with ink before running it through my Bigshot using Stampin' Up's exclusive Beautiful Butterflies Die. This paper is so gorgeous IRL.

This card was done with Stampin' Up Thoughts and Prayers stamp set. I loved this tree the first time I saw it. I stamped it in Old Olive ink and then used my Chocolate Chip marker (direct to rubber techinque) to color in the trunk.
I hope my friend likes what I came up with. Let me know what you think.

A Wonderful Birthday Present!

My dear sweet husband gave me an airplane ticket to Indiana for my birthday. My daughter moved there in May and her husband is working on his Masters at Purdue. They bought a house and have been doing some painting and repairs, so I went out to help them with their children, Hayden and Halle. I had a wonderful time. It took Halle a little while to warm up to me, but by the time I left, she was smiling and playing with me. She even went to sleep in my arms at church. I took lots of pictures and videos. Here are just a few.

Together Forever

We were invited to a wedding yesterday, so I made this card using the Together Forever stamp set.

I've had this set for quite a while, but haven't had a chance to use it until now. I loved the flower design on this set the first time I saw it and now that I have this set mounted, I'm sure I will be using it again soon. There is also a Stampin' Around wheel that coordinates with it and it's on my must have list now.

I used Very Vanilla and Brocade Blue card stock and the designer paper is from the Bella Bleu collection. This paper is perfect for a wedding card. The colors that coordinate with it are Very Vanilla, Kraft and Not Quite Navy. I didn't have any Not Quite Navy card stock, so I used Brocade Blue and I thought it went really well with this designer paper. I Stamped the flower image and the sentiment, from the Heart from the Heart set, with Not Quite Navy ink on the Very Vanilla card stock. I really liked the way it turned out...what do you think?

My Stampin'Up Techniques Club is this week, so I've gotta go cut paper. I'll post the project that we make as soon as I can ... See ya!

Starting Over . . .

I've decided that I need to set some goals for my blog. My first goal is to post something at least once a week and my second will be to personalize my layout.

To accomplish my first goal, I'm posting a picture of the birthday card I made for my dil, BryAnn, . . . that is if I can remember how to add it . . . Shouldn't be too hard, right?

WooHoo!! I did it . . . one goal accomplished for this week . . .
